About me
I am a BACP Registered and UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist in private practice. I am passionate about using talking therapies to help people to understand their difficulties and make positive changes in their lives.
I have practised in several settings including community services in West and North London, working with a range of common presenting issues, including but not limited to:
Anxiety-based problems including panic, obsessive compulsive processes, social anxiety, health anxiety | depression and low mood | relationship problems | problematic perfectionism | eating and body image issues | identity issues and low self-esteem | work and career related difficulties | existential crisis and loss of meaning in life.
I also have a background in publishing and since 2007 I have been commissioning books about counselling and psychotherapy. I have further experience of working as a mentor in charitable and workplace settings, supporting young adults in their personal and professional development.
